The shelter and thrift store will reopen Tuesday 5/19/2020 to normal hours.
We are adhering to Governor Brown’s guidelines for phase 1 reopening. We are taking steps to help prevent spread of Covid-19, and will follow social distancing rules for the safety of our staff, volunteers and guests.
Info for shelter and thrift store guests:
1. We will limit number of people inside, guests are asked to wait their turn outside.
2. Stay 6’ apart.
3. Please follow the marks on the floor and signage.
4. Wear masks if you can as a courtesy to others.
5. Stay home if you are sick.
Shelter guest info:
– Prospective adopters will wear gloves.
– We prefer you call ahead to make appointment for adoption if you can.
– Owner surrenders are allowed based on capacity and priority of need.
Thrift store guest info:
– Curbside pick up is being offered during regular hours. For curbside, must coordinate with the thrift store in advance and pay by square online.

– Donations are being quarantined for safety. All donations are marked with date received and are held aside for 14 days before being available for sale in the store.
Procedures we will follow:
Staff will wear masks.
Frequent hand washing.
Surfaces are being disinfected.
